Description
Samson is a 27-year-old young man from Ogun state. He is a 200 level student of the University of Ilorin and is currently studying Educational Management. He is the only child of his parents. His father died in 2006, and his mother, who is in her mid-fifties, sells fried fish for a living.
Samson contracted measles when he was 5 years old, and he now suffers from partial blindness because it was poorly treated. He has undergone different surgeries to correct his vision but has been advised by his doctor to leave it alone. The doctor said if they wash the pupil of his eyes, he might not be able to see at all.
He attended Pacelli School for the Blind before proceeding to Kings College. He is a brilliant and determined young man, and he scored 218 in JAMB exams. Samson has had to solicit for funds from churches and mosques to support his education.
He is reaching out now for a benefactor who will help him complete his studies and achieve his potential. He needs a laptop installed with NVPA or JAWS app to help him keep up at university. He has been managing with the typewriter he was given when he left Pacelli in 2015. He also needs help with his tuition, hostel accommodation, and feeding.
