Mariam is a 56 year old woman from Edo State. She lives with her husband and four children at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. Mariam is a petty trader while her husband is a retiree who receives monthly pensions.
According to her daughter, Mariam had been struggling with high blood pressure for years. Unfortunately, due to financial challenges, she was not consistent with taking her medications, which led to a mild stroke in April 2024.
After two weeks admission in the hospital, Mariam was asked to go home but was placed on medications. Her family was however advised to engage the services of a Masseur and a Physiotherapist, while they are required to come for check ups every two weeks.
Mariam’s right hand and leg were affected, and she cannot speak clearly. She’s appealing for your financial assistance to help her pay for her medications and medical bills.
